The Sunshine in his Eyes

As I think of defining Love, I don’t only fall short of words, but emotions.
Encompassing so much, so much to describe,
I found that feeling of Love in his eyes.
His beautiful mesmerizing eyes, that hold my whole world within them.

Sunsets, they say, are very romantic and peaceful. I never knew for myself until I experienced some, with him.
It’s a beautiful garden, with everything that screams out Love.
The lovely flowers, the happy couples, a peaceful weather.
And us!

He talks, and he talks, and he talks about everything weird he has been thinking about.
I am listening, or more so, lost in his expressions, the way his lips move, the way he smiles. Adoring his way of speaking, I notice how much full of life he is!
Out of love, he holds my hand, softly. Caressing my fingers, he gets quiet, thinking about something. When I ask, he says nothing. But he gently puts his arm around me and pulls me closer. He tells me, “This is so great, you and me, here!”. He playfully pulls me more close and I can’t help, but feel his heartbeat. Beating so fast, I can actually hear the beats.

Sitting in the grass, hugging me from behind, he conveys his love in the purest form. I can feel his affection, his gentle care and the calmness he’s feeling here with me. A sweet kiss of love, he lands on my cheek. And he moves away to notice my blushing expressions. I turn red, red with the color of love. He laughs, holding me close to his heart, he sits. He tickles me with joy, and we both burst out laughing, like maniacs!

The sun is setting in front of us, the sky looks so beautiful. Feeling his tender skin against mine, I feel safe, I feel loved, I feel complete. Holding him close to me, feeling like I have everything I would ever want, right here right now. He kisses the back of my shoulder, with so much warmth, I can so clearly feel his lips against my skin.

“I Love You”, he whispers those magical words in my ears. With a small puff of air after the last ‘you’, his words shake me up. A chill runs through my bones. His voice and the tender volume of the same has held me aback and I’m lost! Lost in his words, his arms and everything him!

With an intense feeling, I turn towards him, and I’m awestruck! The sunshine is shining in his eyes. The way he is looking straight into my eyes, I’m unable to move! Those eyes! Those eyes full of warmth and truth, gleaming with affection and love. As if the heaven is flowing from his eyes into mine. I am suddenly naive to everything, but him, and his eyes. He leans forward. Pressing his lips gently against mine, he takes me to another world. Our eyes are closed, as we hold hands in a different dimension. Still lost in him, I wish for this moment to freeze. The sunset shine, smiling upon us. I feel the contentment in my heart, of having him beside me. Every bit of him, that belongs to me, I feel luckier!

Perhaps, lovers like these have a world of their own built up. The key to which has only two copies, and the owner of those two, them. Just them.
